I’ve been working on a story about love in the Circus…this is just the beginning. All Watercolour works- because that’s my preference! Comic very soon to come but here’s the title piece!
I’m working on an exciting series at the moment- climbing back into my old ‘Pure pencil, dab of paint’ boots…and loving it. Just one of the family of ‘Circus Freaks: Where are they now?’ gang…stay tuned!

I felt like creating something a little bit Irish to celebrate the fact that we’re currently living here (in Cork) and loving it…so here’s a little Watercolour gift for one special Irish Farmer in particular! Probably a little bit more ‘Children’s Book Illustration’ Style…an area of Illustration I would love to get into full throttle!

London’s non-elite…I’ve been inspired by everyday characters I see in London be it on the tube, ambling around Soho awkwardly slipping into Adult shops or running in the park opposite my house with an army of snuffly dogs behind them. Here’s a collection from my sketchbook- pencilled, shabby-chic characters made up into Watercolour and printed for my and now your enjoyment. I’ve drawn these over the last year while I’ve been here, some of these sketches are older than others but they’re all part of my sketchbook- my little London bible.
Here’s a random collection of little watercolour portraits I did…a few of my favourite oddball gorgeous animals and their similar owners/unique characteristics…
Little old dear knitting herself some company…
The result! And Josh’s collection of Grunge toys below the finished piece…
Just mocked up this lil number for my friend’s Tin Sparrow…you Aussie diamonds.
This recent work of The Cartesian Theatre was commissioned for a Medical Science article in the December 2012 issue of Scientific American. It is a mix of pencil and watercolour with a little dab of digital…
