For our friend's wedding in Ireland I decided to paint them each a portrait of themselves as Owls. Owls just happens to be the Bride, Niamh's favourite creature...included is Joe's favourite literature including Marx's 'Das Kapital' and Samuel Beckett's 'Endgame.' The Desert Field Guide was a personal project dedicated to my new obsession with my green thumb. This picture was sold as prints and produced into jewellery and brooches for my Etsy Store
